I recently teamed up with my friend Lorenzo again to design another menswear pop up shop in the Meatpacking District. This time, it was for the ecommerce brand Combatant Gentlemen. They have super affordable, great quality menswear because they live by the practice of "sheep to closet". It basically means they cut out a bunch of the middlemen and markups because they own their own sheep!
Lorenzo and I wanted to keep the space minimal and masculine to really focus on the product. We created a few focal moments (such as the chandelier) to draw in customers with the design, but have them stay for the product. We think the space came out great and of course it is always a pleasure to work with Lorenzo.
